Our Calling

We Were Born for More

WWOMBB & Health Advocates  is a community based, nonprofit  organization with a clarion call to action!  We stand with the resounding declaration that Black and North American Indigenous women, and their babies are formidable forces, not invisible, invaluable not expendable, contributing members of society not without voice. In a world full of systems designed to erase them, they  will never shrink back nor disappear. These women carry within them the wisdom of ancestral strength and creativity, the lessons of generations of struggle, progress, and power, and the ever-present will to break through cycles of trauma and dysfunction. WWOMBB & Health Advocates is a sanctuary designed to uplift and fight for the lost lives of these women, and in doing so, all women shall benefit. WWOMBB & Health Advocates presses toward the higher mark of truth-telling, community rehabilitation and rejuvenation, wholistic and preventative health promotion, while championing revolutionary changes in broken health and human services systems. It starts with empowering the people. The reality is thousands of people within society have been historically ignored, outright dismissed and demonstrably neglected due to things such as race, age, and socioeconomic status. WWOMBB & Health Advocates stands on the belief that EVERY woman deserves maternal healthcare that is not only competent but complete, and compassionate. EVERY family deserves to experience the feeling of dignified treatment and goodness, and the human right of wholeness in body, soul and spirit. Our calling is imprinted into our name – Worthy Women Of Mighty Birthed Blessings, the complete meaning of our acronym. We keep this acronym at the forefront of all of the services and programs we have developed to serve the people.

Our Mission

Enlighten. Educate. Equip. Empower

WWOMBB is called to combat the long standing U.S. Black & Indigenous Maternal Healthcare Crisis, and to support progressive, upwardly mobile, community and public health improvement through autonomous healthcare navigation.

Our Vision

Helping lives to thrive through revolutionary Community Health Work and Advocacy

WWOMBB envisions a society that embraces equitable, dignified and comprehensive healthcare and prevention services for every woman, man and child ( born and unborn); where the voice of the people, their needs and their human rights are amplified.

Core Values

Activism. Advocacy. Outreach. Compassion. Wholeness.

A wholistic-care and compassionate mindset is at the epicenter of all of WWOMBB programming and services offered. As we outreach, we expect a resounding reach-back. As we actively engage, we expect forged connections. As we advocate, we expect systemic change.

Your Donations Make a Difference!

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, has the power to create positive change. Your support allows us to continue our mission of changing the tide of the Black & Indigenous Maternal Healthcare Crisis in the U.S. Together, we’re making a tangible impact in the lives of women and men who are at risk of experiencing a preventable miscarriage or maternal death — their own or someone close to them — in their lifetime.

With your generosity, we will be able to fund things such as our social media campaigns, our free community advocacy workshops, policy change efforts, marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and brochures, vendor fees, space rental fees, and advertising. Together, we’re building a brighter future for all.
